Education & Prevention

Prevention first. At Manhattan Dental Care, we focus on keeping your mouth healthy rather than waiting to treat disease. That means comprehensive exams that look at the full picture — teeth, gums, oral cancer risk, and targeted x-rays — along with the cleanings, sealants, fluoride, and personalized guidance that help you protect your smile between visits.

Our team never stops learning. Every dentist and clinician at Manhattan Dental Care is committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry through ongoing coursework, professional conferences, and active membership in leading dental associations. It's how we make sure the care you receive today reflects the best that dentistry has to offer.

Cleanings & Prevention

When it comes to dental disease, prevention is key. That’s why we focus on maintaining your oral health both in and out of the office.

Prevention includes regular dental and oral cancer exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Sealants and fluoride are also great preventive treatments that help protect the teeth.

Invisalign® treatment consists of a series of custom-made aligning trays. Trays are changed every several weeks to fit the new tooth configuration.

In addition to the reduced visual impact, Invisalign® aligning trays can be temporarily removed for important occasions – meaning that treatment duration is patient-controlled.  Many of our patients report complete satisfaction with both the Invisalign® treatment and the stunning results.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Having a healthy, bright, beautiful smile enhances your appearance and allows you to smile with confidence. Thanks to advances in modern cosmetic dentistry, we can improve your teeth and smiles with quick and relatively painless treatments that can address discolored teeth, replace missing teeth, fill in unattractive spaces, and improve bite.

The term “periodontics” refers to the dental specialty that pertains to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease that affects the gums and jawbone.

Our periodontist is trained in all aspects of dental implant procedures, which can restore functionality to the mouth when teeth have been affected by periodontitis.

Periodontics

There are several options for restoring a tooth to its normal shape, appearance, and function.

Should your teeth require a restorative treatment, you can rest assured knowing we will always discuss with you the available options, and recommend what we believe to be the most comfortable and least invasive treatment.

Restorations

Zoom! Whitening is an in-office teeth whitening procedure that uses a special lamp and a hydrogen peroxide-based gel to lighten tooth discoloration. The procedure is designed to whiten the enamel of the teeth and typically takes about an hour.

Zoom! Whitening can safely and effectively significantly lighten tooth discoloration, resulting in a brighter and whiter smile.
